The last day of the first year Shaun & I have known each other. Today is also Pi Day! Last year Shaun had a Pi day party at his house. He invited me to go to it, but I chickened out & didn't show up. After he party was over he sent me a text message saying he still wanted to meet me & invited me over for leftover pie the next day. And that was the beginning of us. I can't believe that Shaun & I have known each for a year. It is amazing how time flies by so quickly. This past year has been so great! I love getting to know Shaun more & more each day. I fall more & more in love with him each day too. I love that the way he makes me feel just being near him! Pi day will forever hold a special place in our relationship.
We did have a Pi day party today. It was A LOT of fun! We had yummy pie and The Pie pizza. Then we played some rockband & just talked. Shaun was excited, because we scheduled it so that we could celebrate the first 6 digits of pi (3.14159), but we actually got to celebrate the first 8 (3.1415926). I know.. we are nerds, but it is fun! Plus we got to eat YUMMY pie!

Dinner With Friends
Wednesday night Shaun & I went to dinner at Buca di Beppo with some of my friends (Jen, Alisha & her boyfriend Jason, Rob & his wife BethAnne, & then Rob's friend Deb & her family.) It was a lot of fun. We sat at the Pope's table, which was actually kind of weird, just because you had the Pope starring at you (at least that it was it felt like). It was good to be able to caught up with everyone. Here are some pictures I took.

This is the Pope head that was in the middle of the table. It was on a lazy susan. Kind of freaky looking...

This was the ceiling above the table. The way it was designed it made it sound like there were microphones in the ceiling.

Primary Update!
Two Sundays ago we received a new primary presidency in our ward. At the beginning of class yesterday the new president came into our class and told us that they were doing some switching up of the classes. (We have a lot of nine year old's in our ward, so we have two classes for them.) They took four of our kids, including the one they has given us so much trouble, and gave us four new kids. We now have a class that consists of two girls and five boys. Class this week went much better and I think they teachers that now have the other kids will be able to handle them much better. One of the new boys, S we will call him, already seems to like Shaun a lot, which is good. I feel a lot better about the class now and actually am looking forward to next week.
We talked to the presidency after sharing time and just thanked them for making they changes. They told us that there had been a lot of praying that had gone into the decision and that we both looked a lot happier. P seemed to be doing a lot better in sharing time, when I looked over at him.

Our First Valentines Day
Valentines day this year was a lot of fun. I was supposed to work Saturday from noon until midnight, so we made plans that I would meet him downtown after he got off work and we would have dinner down there. Well while I was on trax my work called and asked me if I would be willing to come in and work tele from 7 am to 7 pm. I called to make sure that Shaun would be okay with that (I was almost positive that he would be, but I just to make sure) and so I told them I would and so then Shaun and I were able to have 2 Valentines dates.
We ended up going to Thaifoon Taste of Asia at the Gateway Friday night. It was REALLY good. I would definitely go back there and would recommend it to you. Then Saturday night after I got off work Shaun took me to Olive Garden. The wait was an hour, so by the time we got to our table we were both REALLY hungry. It was yummy of course. Our waiter was a lot of fun too, so that made the dinner a lot of fun.
That we pretty much our Valentines Day! I was great being able to spend time with Shaun, since I was our first Valentines Day. I love Shaun SO MUCH and look forward to spending the rest of my life and eternity (which we are working on) with him!!

New Years Eve
For New Years Eve Shaun and I decided to have a fondue party at our place. Not a lot of people came, but the few that did we had fun with. My friend Christie and her husband Matt came and stayed the whole time and Shaun's friend Bob showed up and stayed for a little bit, but then headed to his cousins house for another party. We did have one of Shaun's coworkers, Doug, and his kids show up around 11:30 as well.
After eating the yummy fondue that Shaun made we played started to watch a movie that I wasn't so into and instead decided that we should play Rockband. It was a MUCH better idea. It was a lot of fun!!!
To ring in the new year we lite off some fireworks and just made a lot of noise. It was a good time!
