December

December was another busy month, but then again when isn't December busy? Here is what happened:

- I had 2 off-sites for school. They were both pretty fun and very educational.

- Shaun and I were also able to go out to dinner and then to Forgotten Carols with Shaun's parents. I LOVE Forgotten Carols. It is a great show with an awesome message.

-I finished my third term of school (2 to go!!). I got one A- and the rest were A's! I will take it. It fills very good to be able to get good grades and actually LOVE what I am doing!

The big events this month were of course Christmas and New Years Eve! We went to the Annual Wayman Christmas Eve party at my Grandpa's house and then we headed to Shaun's parents house (well Shaun and I did. Zoey got to have a sleep over and my parents house) for the night. We next morning we got up, had breakfast, opened presents and then headed to church. After we were done with church we headed to my parents to spend some time with them. Then I had to go to work... I should have been cancelled before I got there, but it didn't happen. I did get to go home after 2 hours which was nice!

For New Years Eve we had our annual fondue party! I love it! So yummy! It was also fun to be able to hang out with friends and family!

YUMMY!

The Month of November!

I always say that I am going to be better about this whole blogging thing, but it never happens. Life has been pretty crazy with work and school (which I still LOVE!!) and when I do have time I don't think about writing on here, but I have a few minutes and I am actually thinking about it so I thought I would take advantage of it.

I haven't blogged about anything since the end of October, so I will start there:

On November 5th, I had an amazing day, This day will forever be a special day for me. The reason why this will forever be a special day for me is because that is the day I received my endowments at the Salt Lake Temple! It was a day I have been working towards for a very long time and it is kind of hard to believe that it has come and gone already. I am so grateful for the love and support I have received as I made this decision to go to the temple. It was an amazing day! I am glad that I made the decision to go. It wasn't an easy one, because of the fact that Shaun wasn't going to be able to be there, but I do know that it was the right decision for our family.

I love being able to go to the temple and do other things besides baptisms for the dead. There is so much to be learned there and I am excited to have many trips to the temple ahead of me.

The following weekend I was able to have a girls weekend getaway with Christie and Brook (and Christie's family). We headed to St. George for Time Out for Women (TOFW). This is the fourth time I have been able to go to a TOFW event and it was just as good as the previous ones. We were able to do a session in the St. George temple while we were down there and just have lots of fun hanging out. I honestly can wait for the next TOFW event!

For Thanksgiving this year we had dinner with my Mom's side of the family. We had dinner at my Grandma's house (which was kind of weird...) and it was really tasty. After we were done there we headed over to Shaun's Aunt Cindee and Uncle Paul's house to visit with everyone that was there. All in all it was a fun day.

We didn't do any early morning Black Friday shopping. I remember growing up I used to LOVE going, but not anymore. I enjoyed sleeping in and just enjoying my time with Shaun and Zoey.

The Third Annual Pumpkin Carvnival

We once again had our annual Halloween party and it was pretty fun. We didn't have a huge turn out again this year, but that is okay because we still were able to enjoy the yummy food and have a great time with our friends. The three of us even dressed up this year! I was a good witch, Shaun was a scientist and Zoey was a postal worker.

Seattle

Shaun and I were able to take a quick trip up to Seattle to visit Tom, Chelsea and Jake. It was a lot of fun. I LOVE LOVE LOVE Seattle (to visit that is :) ) and so anytime we get to go is awesome. We flew up on Friday the 14th of October (the day after I ended my second term of school.. Another 4.0!!) and spent sometime exploring Downtown Seattle and then took the ferry over to Bremerton where we met up with Tom, Chelsea, Kim and Michelle (they were up in Seattle because Michelle had a class she was taking) and had a yummy dinner at Anthony's. We spent the rest of the evening hanging watching Big Bang Theory (we LOVE this show now! Thanks Tom and Chelsea!)

The next day we headed to Point No Point to check out the lighthouse there and then we headed to do some shopping. We hit up Central Market (it is a pretty cool supermarket with tons of different ethic foods and an awesome bulk section) and a few other store to get things for a BBQ we had that night.

Sunday we went to church and then Tom, Jake, Kim, Shaun and I went exploring at on of the local parks in Port Orchard. It was TONS of fun. It felt like there we had left the city and had headed to the mountains. It was AWESOME! I would love to have parks like that around here.

Then Monday we headed home so I could start my third term of school! It really was a fun trip. I can't wait until we go again!

Rachel & Tod's Wedding

Back on September 24th Shaun and I were able to go to the wedding and reception of a family friend, Rachel. She got married to her long time boyfriend, Tod. It was a fun event for the most part. The funnest part for us was getting to see other family friends we don't often see because they live clear across the country. We were able to spend time with Big Sarah (brides mom), little Sarah (the brides sister) and Little Sarah's husband Seth during the reception and then Little Sarah and Seth ended up coming and spending the night at our house. It was a lot of fun getting to stay up talking and playing Uno with them. It was also a lot of fun all the other times we got to spend time with the Sarah's throughout the remainder of their stay here is SLC.
