Shaun and I decided that we wanted to make one last trip before Ms. Tori comes, but we didn't want to spend tons and tons of money and didn't want to go somewhere that was super far away so we decided to head to St. George for a few days.
The beginning of our trip didn't start out as we had planned. We really wanted to get out of town early, but after a very long stop to get a much needed oil change we were heading out of town late. The drive to St. George was nice and we were able to check into our hotel before it was too late and still have time to head to Mesquite for dinner! (I really wanted prime rib...)
Saturday we got up and did a little shopping. We tried checking out the market they have at Tuacahn, but by the time we got there everyone was cleaning up. So instead of doing that we just drove around checking things out. It brought back a lot of memories from when I lived down there and was going to school!
We decided that while we were down in St. George that we would do a session at the temple. The only problem with that plan is neither of us had bothered to look at the schedule to make sure they were open, oops! When we got to the temple the parking lot was empty and we thought that was weird, but we still gathered our things and headed to the door where we found the note saying that the temple was closed! So instead of doing a session we walked around the temple ground and took pictures.
After we were done at the temple we head back to our hotel to change and then headed out for another drive. This time we went and check out the view from where the old airport was. While we were out we did check out the new airport, which is way far out there!
Sunday morning we started our journey home. We decided to take a little detour through Zions on the way home. That was a lot of fun! We did a little hiking and enjoyed watching all the climbers. It was a nice addition to our trip. By going that way home I was able to see things that I haven't seen since I was little, if ever!
All in all it was a great trip! I am glad we got to spend that time with one another.

Winter Trip to the Zoo!!
On February 16th, Shaun and I had to chance to go to the Hogle Zoo with my parents. It was honestly a lot of fun. I really like going to the Zoo in the winter, because there seems to not be as many people and that is always nice. Plus I think some of the animals are more active.
None of us had been to the zoo since they added the Rocky Shores area and I gotta say that I am REALLY impressed with that new area! My favorite part was Rizzo, the polar bear. I could have watched her for hours (I really could have!!) She was swimming all over her enclosure and when she was tired of swimming she would go walk around on the shore. Then she would repeat. She was just really entertaining.
Another thing I enjoyed seeing was the baby giraffe. It was so cute!
After we got done at the zoo we headed to Ruth's Diner for lunch (YUMMY!) and then continued up the canyon for a nice little drive! (The reverse of the drive we took a few weeks earlier)
It was fun getting to spend sometime with my parents!
Here are just a few pictures (and I really do mean a few. Shaun took over 800 pictures while we were at the zoo)

One Day, Two Events!
July 7th this year was a pretty great day! Not only was it Shaun's 30th birthday, but it was the day that Shaun and I were sealed for time and ALL ETERNITY in the Draper Utah Temple! It was amazing to be able to spend the day in the temple with my husband and our families and friend
The sealing was a really cute old man. He was so nice. You could tell he had been doing this for awhile! My temple escort was amazing! She was really nice and so helpful! The whole experience was amazing! I am grateful for all the family and friends who came to support us!
Later in the evening we had a party to celebrate Shaun's 30th birthday and Our sealing! It was a lot of fun. We ate and talked and just had fun! It was a great way to end such an amazing day!
Here a few of my favorite pictures from the day:

Let's get caught up!
It's been an exciting 3 months. I stayed pretty busy with work and school, but that didn't stop me for added doing taxes with my Grandpa to my schedule. Granted I didn't work there very often due to my schedule, but I still worked a few days. Luckily I didn't have class on Tuesdays this term so Shaun and I were able to spend V-Day together :) To start our V-Day celebration out Shaun had roses sent to me at work on the 13th, since I didn't work on the 14th. He wanted me to be the special one to receive roses at work! I definitely did feel special!! On Valentine's Day evening we headed down to the Old Spaghetti Factory in Orem to see "King Arthur & Lancelot: For the Love of Guinevere" a dinner theater production put on by Salty Dinner Theater Company. The show was pretty good. It was definitely an interested evening...
For Shaun's present for V-Day I did my first Pinterest project. I made a little book of 52 Reason I love him. It turned out pretty cute.
I don't think we really did anything else that was big during February, So lets move on to March :)
We had our annual Pi Day Celebration! It was a lot of fun. We didn't have as many people show up this year as we did last year, but we still had a lot of fun! I made my first ever pie and it was DELICIOUS!! I have made it a few times since Pi Day!
I finished up my second to last term of school! Only 10 more weeks at that point to go!! To finish up my term I had a couple off-site I need to do for clinic. One of the off-sites I did was to go and work on Grizzles players! It was pretty cool. I only worked on one player (who was brand new to the team) and a couple of staff members, but it was still a lot of fun. After I was done with that they gave me a couple tickets to the game so Shaun and I were able to go watch the game. I thought it was a lot of fun. Then again I LOVE going to hockey games! Shaun wasn't so sure about it. We are going to go again with friends sometime and see if it is funner for him. He also wasn't feeling the best, so I don't think that helped matters.
Another big thing that happened during March was Shaun went to Atlanta, Georgia for a week to finish putting together his new company, Chatmongers, with his business partner. They spent a lot of time working, but they were able to go check out Stone Mountain.
Now on to April! The Sunday of conference weekend we went to his parents house for breakfast and lunch and to watch conference. This has become somewhat of a tradition and it is always pretty fun.
The following weekend Shaun and I went to Color Me Mine with My Mom and Christie and Matt. It was a lot of fun! I LOVE going to Color Me Mine and it was fun to have some guys there. We normally do it as a Girls Day activity, but we changed it up a little bit this time. After we were done with that Christie and Matt came over to our house and we dyed Easter eggs!
For My Birthday this year we went to Olive Garden with my Parents and Grandpa before I headed off to school for the rest of the evening. I did get to go do a session at the Jordan River Temple during the day, which was a nice birthday present to myself! All in all it was a GREAT birthday!
The next day Shaun and I went and saw The Princess Bridesmaid at Desert Star Playhouse! It was so fun! I am really glad we got season tickets there this year. It is early in the production and you could kind of tell. There were a few times that they messed up their lines, but when they did they made it entertaining. I can't wait until the next show!
Well I think that pretty much gets us caught up! We are enjoying the weather we have had! Zoey loves when we go for walks, so we try and go as much as possible. I have 3 weeks left of school and then I am done!! I should be a Licensed Massage Therapist by the middle of June!! I can't wait!!
Here are pictures from the last couple months!

Seattle
Shaun and I were able to take a quick trip up to Seattle to visit Tom, Chelsea and Jake. It was a lot of fun. I LOVE LOVE LOVE Seattle (to visit that is :) ) and so anytime we get to go is awesome. We flew up on Friday the 14th of October (the day after I ended my second term of school.. Another 4.0!!) and spent sometime exploring Downtown Seattle and then took the ferry over to Bremerton where we met up with Tom, Chelsea, Kim and Michelle (they were up in Seattle because Michelle had a class she was taking) and had a yummy dinner at Anthony's. We spent the rest of the evening hanging watching Big Bang Theory (we LOVE this show now! Thanks Tom and Chelsea!)
The next day we headed to Point No Point to check out the lighthouse there and then we headed to do some shopping. We hit up Central Market (it is a pretty cool supermarket with tons of different ethic foods and an awesome bulk section) and a few other store to get things for a BBQ we had that night.
Sunday we went to church and then Tom, Jake, Kim, Shaun and I went exploring at on of the local parks in Port Orchard. It was TONS of fun. It felt like there we had left the city and had headed to the mountains. It was AWESOME! I would love to have parks like that around here.
Then Monday we headed home so I could start my third term of school! It really was a fun trip. I can't wait until we go again!
